GENVAS presents Bach to Bond featuring Emmanuel “Manny” Vass, piano

Known as “the Naked Pianist,” because he strips away classical music formal rules, this Pakistani-Filipino Englishman has performed for the Prince of Monaco; crowdfunded a #1 album, been broadcasted on ClassicFM, BBC World Service, and BBC Radio 3, across 30 countries. At 28 years old he was across 30 countries named “one to watch” by The Independent newspaper, & he was called a “rising star” by BBC Music magazine, Young Classical Star, and by ClassicFM.  His CD’s, From Bach to Bond, and Sonic Waves reflect both Manny’s eclectic taste in music and his versatility as a pianist. He is as at ease with the challenges of Bach as with the demanding pianistic technique required for his own arrangements – in the manner of Liszt – of the James Bond theme, traditional sea shanties, and Bohemian Rhapsody.

This original concert features traditional and original interpretations of “James Bond Concert Etude,” “Love Walked In” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Claire de Lune,” “Italian Concert in F Major,” “Suite Espangole: Malaguena” and more! It was made possible through a grant from Funding Arts Broward with additional support from the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Spa & Resort and Sunshine Cathedral.
