Cafe Society Pride presents Liz Callaway: Broadway and Beyond

The Lauderhill Performing Arts Center begins their very popular 2024 Broadway series with a very special GENVAS salon concert featuring Tony nominee and Emmy Award winning actress, singer, and recording artist Liz Callaway. Ms. Callaway made her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along, was nominated for her role in Baby, and received critical acclaim for her five-year run as Grizabella in Cats. Liz also starred in the original casts of Miss Saigon, The Three Musketeers, and The Look of Love. Regional and international credits include the role of Dot in Sunday in the Park with George, Eva Peron in Evita, and Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. The concert features “Memories” “Broadway Baby” “You Don’t Own Me” “Moon River” “Send in the Clows” and many more beloved showtunes and American Songbook standards.

The concert is produced by Generation Venetian Arts Society, (GENVAS), and is generously underwritten by the Community Foundation of Broward, Our Fund Foundation, Broward County Cultural Division, City of Lauderhill, and Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach Resort & Spa.
